CSAIL Wireless

The wireless network in the Stata Center consists of 71 Cisco Aironet access points operating at 54 Mbit/s with support for IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g standards, providing full coverage of all research areas of the building. We do not currently plan to implement 802.11a technology, but we are watching the development of 802.11n for future deployment (2008-2010 time frame).

The following maps show the locations of CSAIL wireless access points on each floor. Channel numbers are subject to change.
