CURRENT SERVICE STATUS
2014-09-04 23:22:00 We believe we have resolved many of the outstanding network problems. TIG staff will continue to monitor the network intensively over the next several days, and a more detailed announcement will be forthcoming when we are more certain that the actions we and the hardware vendor have taken have actually fixed the issues.
2014-09-03 09:40:00 A faulty circuit breaker in the building's main electrical system caused multiple power outages that affected most parts of the CSAIL lab Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. The first outage caused some of core services and network to go down. All services should be back now working properly. We will continue to work with MIT Facilities as they investigate the problem.
- The "registered" StataCenter wireless network was turned off on June 9. All users who wish to print from or have a static IP address on the wireless network must switch to the CSAILPrivate wireless network. Other users may continue to use guest access via the StataCenter network.
