We removed the two 52 inch plasma displays in the Bleil Room (32-601)and replaced them with a 1080p Mitsubish WD2000 DLP 92 inch rear projection system. Glass whiteboards are scheduled to be installed in the room during the week of November 5, 2007. Also during that week we plan to install a wireless Crestron TPMC-4X Hand Held Remote that will replace the existing switch.

How to Use this Room*:

1. To the left of the projection screen press the button to turn on the projector. It will take a few moments to warm up. This switch controls the inputs for the audio and video sources for the room.

2. Plug your laptop into either of the pop up panels in the conference table. Input #1 is at the far end of the room and Input #2 is closer to the screen.

3. On the switch to the left of the display select "laptop 1" or "laptop 2" depending on which pop-up you are using. If the signal does not appear after five seconds toggle the input buttons. You may also choose "Video 1" or Video 2" if you need to use a non laptop source.

4. The sound level can be adjusted with the volume knob on the switch. If you need sound during your presentation simply plug one end of the audio portion of the dual audio/video cable into your laptop and the other into the appropriate pop up.

5. Please be sure to power off the projector when leaving the room. This can be done by selecting the "off" button on the switch.

* To book this room please send mail to Colleen Russell (crussell@csail.mit.edu).
