Useful KDE Hints
You can find most of the settings and applications you need by clicking on the
K button on the lower left of your screen.
If you are looking for an application, try sorting through the menus and see if you can find it.
Setting your default printer
Go to
Settings -> Peripherals -> Printers
Find the printer you want to use as a default and right click on it. Select
Set as Local Default. That printer will now show up in italics.
Panning Between Virtual Desktops
- Open KDE control panel
- Select Desktop->Window behaviour
- Click the tab "Advanced"
- Tick "Always Enabled" under "Active desktop borders"
- Click "Apply".
